Ok - I'm sure this has been posted 100,000,000 times but I'm new to this whole posting thing so here goes... I have been working out at least 5-6 days a week and netting 1300 cals for 4 months now and I have lost 2 freaking pounds and no inches. My pants still don't fit and I'm so close to saying f&$k it! I'm sorry, but I don't "eat clean" but I also don't eat crap food all the time either. I feel there is no reason why I wouldn't be losing ANYTHING!! I'm going to schedule an appointment with my doc to check my thyroid but if that's not it I don't know what to do! I'm 5'7 135-137. My TDEE should be 1853 so I have mfp set at 1353 daily. I don't know what else to do but I'm going crazy.

I should also include I do a lot of strength training, treadmill, stairclimber and a ballet barre and a strength and core class at the gym. And I have been using a hrm since June.0

Do you use a food scale?0

1 am 5'4 136lbs, I am not sure why you are trying to lose more weight? Seems you would be dipping too low.0

Maybe eating too few calories with work out, so your body feels starved so is holding on to what it has. Just a though0 -
Yes I have a food scale and weigh and measure everything - even wine! ????0

I look like I weigh a lot more than I do. It's just the way I carry my weight - all in my butt and thighs. And cankles... ????0

Please set your food diary to open or public and reply here when you've done that, if you would like us to take a look.0

I'm not sure what your age is, but just doing some basic calculations, if you're netting 1300 per day, that's below your BMR.
If you're working out 5-6 days per week then I suspect that you're TDEE is somewhere around 2100-ish and you should be taking your deficit from that number.
My body stalls when my deficit is too high and the way I got the losses going again was to raise my net intake to at least just over my BMR. I started dropping weight immediately. See if resetting your NET to 1450-1500 per day helps. If you're not losing anyway, what harm can it do?0 -
Sorry, I thought this was the EM2WL forum. I know you don't like people throwing out random advice here....:)
But still worked for me. lol0 -

Ok - it's public now. I realize I need to eat a lot more protein! Yikes! Tips for that would be great! More protein less carbs!0 -
