Belly fat

Just looking for advice/opinions.
I've always had belly fat. Since im an apple shape that's apparently where I carry all of it.
Even at my lowest weight, I still have a pretty big belly. I always thought it was because of poor diet
but NOW that I went from 156lbs to 118lbs(high school weight) AND cleaned up my diet,
all lean meats, veggies, good fats and really lowered my carbs) I STILL have not lost anything from my
stomach. It is a complete pot belly look with fat that you can grab with two hands. Everywhere else on my
body is really leaning out, so I look even worse with it. I work out a few days a week for about 30mins doing a mix of core work,
free weights and some cardio. I do have hypothyroid (which I take snythyroid for) and I may for insulin resistance (I heard almost
all apple shapes are, and plus from over 10 yrs of extremely poor eating).

I would say, spend more time doing legs and full body things like heavy squats. Build up your butt and you'll feel more in proportion as you lose the last bit of fat. Your stomach will decrease more as you lose more fat. It sounds like you're more "skinny/fat", where you've small, but don't have much muscle. I'm also hypothyroid (hashi), but I'm a pear!

You posted here a couple of months ago, twice, but never responded with whether you followed the advice (which would not have changed) :
