For whatever reason this threadstarter really spoke to me today. Sometimes this process can feel like a long road, and it's a great reminder that it's okay to break it up into smaller segments.

Rest day today, and I need it. My body is fatigued from my training this week, and I generally am not feeling very well (allergies are kicking my butt), so it promises to be a long day.

Hope you're feeling better now, Laura.

I got up and out, unfortunately later than I wanted to, but up and out anyway! Fells and I ran our 4 mile course, but cut some edges as I was so late and wanted to be able to get a shower and still get to work before people started looking for me. So it turned out to be about a 3 2/3 to 3 3/4 mile run that I did in 45 minutes, with 3 of those minutes involving waiting for the light to change on the way out and the way back. So I'm pleased with my pace. Both of us ran it easily, with both of us looking forward to our breakfasts as soon as we got back. :)

Hope everyone has a good Friday followed by a nice weekend. We've started to get our normal August weather here, starting about Tuesday or Wednesday, hot and humid, which is a shame as I was enjoying the unusual cool weather (getting in the 60's in the morning!! In August!!)

I am so happy that I got this done, rather than having it hang over my head. Plus it'll be so much warmer this evening than it was this morning. I think that I'm going to get a rotissere chicken at the supermarket this evening and up my protein. I seem to be hungry all the time!

Nice job getting your run in early Donna! Glad it was a good run. I love rotisserie chicken. It's the "deli deal" on Wednesdays at my local grocery store and that's my late night with Jason (don't see him until 7:00), so about once a month I'll stop & pick up a rotisserie chicken on the way home to have for dinner.

Speaks to me also, I use to look at the end of losing weight but it became to overwhelming, so now I look at just one day, if I can make one day eating healthy I am happy.

Last 2 days have been good.

I had a bad sleep night with long strange dream about being with a groom right before his wedding! I am 58 and have never done anything even sort of like that in my life! lol Dreams are weird....only thing even close was I was looking at a pic of a pretty bride yesterday....

And fighting sinus thing again, tired, headachy, doing nose thing...so taking day off exercise and going to movies after i get license renewed, they are making me come in for pic and eye test. I would put off but I am late, my state doesn't send reminder like my old state so i didn't know I was late until someone looking at ID few days ago told me.

I swam last night, had to force myself, was very tired.

Marla you're the second person I've seen post today about having weird dreams last night. I didn't last night but I did the night before. My sinuses have been really awful so you have my full sympathies.

I just went in last week to take the eye test so I could have them remove from my driver's license that I need correction to drive legally. My corrective eye surgery was in April but my surgeon told me it would take up to 4 months for my vision to totally stabilize so I waited for that anniversary to pass. My license wasn't due to be renewed for another year but I had them do a full renewal now (vs just paying a smaller fee to have them reissue the same card with that box unchecked) so I don't have to go back again next year to do it again. Also I've lost 90 pounds since the last photo so I didn't think it was a horrible idea to have an updated photo.
