Chromium Picolinate?

The bottle of Chromium Picolinate says that "it is an essential trace mineral that is involved in the metabolism of protein, fats, and sugars (carbs). It also plays role in the release of energy from cells." Are any of you taking or have taken Chromium Picolinate? What has been your experience and/or results?

I did it years ago- it was touted to help with weight loss. Results? None.

I started taking this about a month and a half ago and didn't notice any difference.

Snake oil. Contains Omega 3! ;-)

It's actually a correct analogy. Lots of things are good for the body and involved in metabolic pathways - but that doesn't mean that we need to supplement with them. If you do supplement, there's the issue with the price tag ...

I take it to help control my blood sugars, specifically lower my fasting.
It doesn't work for everyone though.
