So good news all around. 11 pounds and I can ride Scout under saddle. He has been working with a girl once a week under saddle just so he knows it isn't always bareback. I hope to loose that last 11 by October. I would like to try a walk trot class in November if Scout is ready. Just a simple flat class. Don't want to push his young mind to much.
Chico's leg is also doing great. Still flat and the wound is getting smaller. Not totally healed but improving. I keep it wrapped all of the time for fear that the proud flesh will come back. I haven't spoken to my vet in about a month. Last phone call he said keep it wrapped so I am.

That is great news on both counts! You will lose that 11 and have a fantastic show. So glad to hear the proud flesh is gone and the wound is on the mend. You look great in your profile pic, too, by the way!0
