Ok...so...I bought some of this stuff and have yet to try it. I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions as to what it is super-delicious on. The general consensus on the interwebs seems to be that it's amazing on EVERYTHING. lol. So...any ideas?

any meat you may want to broil or grill and that is all I have tried it on so far. I do use it in my bone broth too.0

I have been trying to access Red Boat Fish Sauce FOREVER.... well for over two years anyway. Still no luck.
Me want some! :laugh:0 -
So I put it in with my eggs for dinner...holy delicious, Batman! Yes, you definitely want some Akima. I foresee myself adding it to many things. I'm dreaming up a shrimp stir-fry right now since I also got some kelp noodles when I ordered the sauce from Amazon. Thinkin' shrimp, yellow summer squash, kelp noodles, cooked in coconut oil and seasoned with Red Boat and a squeeze of lime juice. How's that for a slice of fried gold? Hehe.0

I use fish sauce a lot! When I was in Thailand a few years ago,I had one dish many times.
Ground meat(tonight I used some chicken breasts, cut them small, don't have to grind the meat),thai purple basil, fresh lime juice, garlic, ginger, chillies, coconut aminos and fish sauce.I let mine marinade for at least a few hours and sometimes overnight.
I fry it in a hot pan in ghee, butter or coconut oil and then add in grated cauliflower or whatever I have to hand.In Thailand it's served over rice so the cauliflower works well.I made it with courgette "pasta" tonight.
Amazing dish!0 -
I have a homemade Worcestershire that I was paleoizing. The fish sauce was the only ingredient I couldn't replace. I'd do that first!
Of course typical substitutes necessary - coconut aminos for soy sauce, etc.
