Hey guys, this is my first post here and I'm done stuffing myself until I feel sick just because there's food in the house.
I've read thru many of the old posts in this group and have bookmarked the websites recommended to read when I feel like eating when I'm not hungry. I know this isn't a 1-day process and that it's not easy. I know it'll take a while to fix this unhealthy connection I've made with food but I'm ready to put my all into it and try as hard as I can.
I just threw out all my little 100-cal snacks which I buy because "hey what if I get hungry during the day and want a snack?" but which I end up eating all at once. I also threw out the candy which I keep around when I need something to keep me going.
And I hope this time, I'll be able to make lasting changes to my diet and life with the help of this group Thanks you guys it's good to know I'm not alone!

Glad you found us! Check out the Me vs The Binge challenge, as it helps keep things in perspective. A good way of getting rid of the binging food is by donating it to a local shelter or soup kitchen, as they really need it and you can feel like your progress helps other people as well.0
