Welcome, what is on your mind? I am not full Paleo but I know the deal and am slowly ditching dairy to be more Paleo.0

Welcome. I am new to this thread, but long time Primal, so ask anything. Between all of us, we can probably answer anything. Definitely check out the thread Re: reading lists for paleo.0

My concern is feeling hungry while on paleo if you could just tell me your experience with starting0

Hello! I have been at this for a few years now. When I first started I was hungry a lot, but found I needed to add in more healthy fats and protein. I would suggest making sure that you are eating lots of healthy fats, especially initially while you transition. It is a whole new world for many, so be patient!0

I don't think you'll find yourself hungry on paleo as much as you might experience cravings/withdrawals from grains and other typical standard american diet (SAD) foods. It will pass, just stick with it for at least two weeks. As others said, take a look at the sticky topics at the top of the Primal/Paleo forum. Everyone here is pretty helpful if you have specific questions or concerns!0

Hi! :drinker:
When I've been strict Paleo, I find that I'm not nearly as hungry and when I do morning workouts, I get way less fatigued.
Just remember fat is your friend.
I was pretty strict until June, then some life stress kicked in and now I'm slowly trying to get back there, because I felt awesome.
Feel free to friend me if you want, since I'm pretty much starting over again too.0 -
I've been Primal/Paleo, and usually ketogenic, for over 2 years now. There is NO reason to be hungry with a Paleo lifestyle. It's helpful to drop the calorie and scale obsession to achieve that though.
My diary is open. I log most of the time. I'll be transitioning away from logging over time. Mostly now it's to monitor my food choice trends and make sure I don't go nuts with sugar, even from fruit.0 -
thanks everyone0
