I fell off the low carb wagon and the only reason I like it in the first place is bc it reduces my cravings for junk - just curious if staying under 35 carbs has worked for anyone ? I know everyone is different- but a lot of friends have told me 30/30/40.....seems more realistic- but then I get those carb cravings- anyone share their experience ? Thanks.

Mine is 10c 20p 70f at the moment, I'm still figuring out what works best for me. At first I couldn't go that low on carbs, so I gradually came down from about 80grams and at the same time I lowered my carbs I raised my fat and adjusted my protien. I'm 40 days paleo so this is coming from a newbie. Hope all goes well.

I know all about cravings, insatiable hunger, bingeing etc and a whole host of other symptoms of metabolic disorder. Low carb is absolutely the only way I keep on track and thriving.
Currently I have my settings at 10% carb, 65% fat, 25% protein. At times I've been 5% carbs and I still treat the 10% as a maximum. Things don't go well when I have too many carbs, especially sugar, and even a bit the starches.
Not too many people in the Paleo group would recommend 30/30/40 (assuming 30 fat, 40 carb). Thats too low in fat, for everyone imo, and too high in carb for all but maybe the most athletic. However, I would try not to disagree with anyone Paleo who would say that it worked for them; we are all different. Unless it was mostly sugar, and then I would have my doubts. And yes I do know a few Paleo people that consume A LOT of sugar and they usually say what they are doing is working, while also complaining of poor results in separate posts. lol0
