Hello all. Hope everyone's week is going great. Nancy, what beautiful pictures you posted yesterday. Yesterday was a busy, long day for me. Left early in the morning to go and give plasma, then ate lunch at the park (pre-packed), then therapy, then the bus/train ride back home, stopped by the pharmacy and store on the way home. By the time I got home I was completely exhausted. Fixed a light dinner and collapsed, lol. Not a whole lot planned for today. This morning we have nothing planned. Our medical transportation should pick us up about 1:30 for Michael's 2:30 doctor's appointment. Coming home should be a nightmare. Protesters are planning on stopping traffic on one of the major highways at about 4:30 so that should make the rest of the highways jam packed. I just don't understand idiots who think that standing in traffic will get anything accomplished.
i don't think I shared my NSV with you all the other day. I was in the bathroom changing clothes and caught a glimpse of myself. Normally i don't look because I can't stand looking at all of my sagging skin. What I noticed had me jumping for joy. I can actually see the beginning of a waist. Even when I was at my lowest weight, I didn't have a defined waist. I am so excited. The scale is finally moving as well. It just boggles my mind how increasing my calorie intake by over 600 calories can actually make me lose weight. But hell, I'll take it!!!
Has anybody else had any NSV's lately? Hope you all have a fantastic day!! I'll check back in later this evening.

Wow Dee, I was just exhausted reading about your day yesterday!! You certainly were moving all day long!!! I am busyt with work trying to get ready for a big survey of our facility. I am trying to get my steps in at work so as not to have to do them on the treadmill! Almost got them in today from running around trying to get signatures here and there!
what does NSV stand for again??0 -
NSV= non-scale victory. I can't wait to start counting my steps again. I have felt so naked without my FitBit. My new one should come in the mail today. Yay!!!!0

I know what you mean, I am sort of addicted to the fitbit!! It is sort of like a challenge with yourself to move and get out there and walk or jog or whatever!! Thanks for the NSV definition...I knew it had to do with 'non weight' goals, but forgot the abbreviation! See that you also lost 3 inches!! Way to go Dee!!
I see that Pat is not posting....wonder what happened. Hope he is out there in bike land....riding to his hearts content!!
Zac....hope you are having good weather to get some outdoor activities in!!
Dee....glad to hear the weather is finally turning better! Same here!
I see that Heather is still losing....hope she is keeping well too!
And Karen.....worry about her, hope she is keeping well!!
Everyone have a great night....
Nancy....where the temp is about 103 and NO humidity!! Yeah!!0
