Suggestions for a new program

The fall months are arriving, which means sweaters will be worn, which means bulking can (and will) be done. I am looking for suggestions on a new program for this bulk. I have been lifting for about two and a half years. I did Lyle McDonald's generic bulk for a bit and recently did HST for awhile. While relatively happy with my current state aesthetically I would like to focus on getting a bit stronger. For what it's worth Killustrated has me in the intermediate category for the Big 4 lifts (including overhead press) with the exception of squats, for which I blame a nasty knee valgus issue.
I am 45, male, 158 lbs. TIA!

Give 5/3/1 a shot. It is a solid program if strength is your primary objective.0

5/3/1 4 lyfe, yo.0

Texas Method with an assistance day after intensity day. You'll be able to catch up some squat gains that way too, as it'll likely be faster progress than 5/3/10

If you can handle the Texas Method, that is 3x faster progression than 5/3/1. I like 5/3/1+joker sets and BBB for bulking. Hits strength and hypertrophy and I get to test maxes a lot.0

Thanks guys I will look into these. Any links to info about the Texas method? This is the first I've ever heard of it.0

A bit late to the party, and I am sure n3ver3nder has you covered, but you can read about the Texas Method here:

I have not run it, but have run 5/3/1 - it was my first routine and ran it for about 18 months before moving to customized routines.
I like the look of it - gets you squatting more Personally I would pull singles on the intensity day instead of the power cleans - but that's just because I don't do Oly Lifts (nothing wrong with them, I just focus on the 'Big 3'. and I like deads.0 -
Stronglifts, or Starting Strength?
just playin....
I haven't run it, but maybe give Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size a look. (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/shortcut-to-size.html)
If it's as intense as his Shortcut to Shred (which I have run), it will be a BEAST of a workout, and could deliver some solid results.0
