How to Track?

How do people input the BBY - YAYOG exercise into their tracker? Do you recommend using circuit training? Do you eat back only half the calories if you're still hoping to lose weight but make noob gains?

I have a Body Media armband that is supposed to give pretty accurate calorie burn readings even for exercise that isn't steady state cardio. So I get up in the morning, put it on, turn it on, and it tells me how many calories I've burned since midnight the night before...usually around 300-310. Then I wear it for my strength training and check the number again after I'm done. Subtract the lower number from the higher and use that as my burn...I log it under bodyweight training but manually adjust the numbers to match what I got from my armband.
Today was Week 2 Day 2 of the beginner 10 week program (lower body). The armband told me I burned about 170 calories for the 36 minute workout plus warmup and cooldown. Sad, tiny little burn. Oh well, I can tell I'm building muscle. In fact I absolutely SUCKED at the single-legged Romanian deadlifts the first time I tried them--my right side is SO much weaker than my left, I had no idea!--but today in my third session that includes them I was totally rocking those deadlifts. Much better endurance and balance! I really love this program.0
