Different readings?

I just took m ygl 3 times in a row. I got 3 different numbers. one finger, 153, next finger, 209, then again, same finger, 196. What gives? Is there something wrong with my meter? I don't normally check it multiple times in a row.

    Meters have a margin of error, the readings are all close, so you are in that 200 range.
    Make sure your hands are clean and dry.
    Keep your strips clean and dry too.

    Sometimes when my meter reading vary way off my norm, I check to see if it's a low battery. You might try that if you haven't changed the battery.

    Same here. Did two pokes this morning and my left hand was 11 points higher than my right. I just hope that over time the averages will be correct
