Double Half and motivation

So I'm just kicking myself in the tail a bit today. I'm signed up for a 5 mile race this coming Friday night followed on Saturday by a half-marathon and another half on Sunday. Those are #3 and 4 for the year. Typically I run this distance in the spring which means train up is mainly treadmill time during the winter. I figured I'd be rocking the training this summer and setting PR's left and right.
I've been a total slug the last couple of months - like 10 miles/week kinda slug. I'm now just going to go into my first double half in a survival mode. No real question, just venting 8) Hope you all have a better training week than I have!

If you (foolishly in my opinion) decide to do them all, you definitely should mostly walk and slowly run them. Don't even try to completely slow run any of them.0
