Feeling a little lost right now. Found out my surgeon is leaving his practice . Has anyone ever oexperienced this? I am 1 1/2 years post op but i have no idea how this changes my follow ups.

Same thing happened to me right before my 1 year follow up a couple months ago. I'm not having issues and my 6 month labs were perfect so I'll follow up at my physical in a few months with my pcp. I'm over the lifetime cap for bariatrics on insurance already anyway and wasn't excited about coming out of pocket 600 bucks or more for labs right now anyway. This way most of the labs will get paid as "well care". I figure I'm in the same boat at someone sleeved in Mexico at this point. I'll have to manage my own after care.0
