1 Year + 8 Months into Quitting

I stopped smoking on 23 January 2013 10:30:00 pm ACDT
I have saved $ 3100.12 by choosing not to smoke 8659 cigarettes.
It has been 88 weeks, 2 days, 12 hours, 56 minutes, 53 seconds since I quit.
More importantly, I saved 9 weeks, 3 days 3 hours 35 minutes of my life!
1 year and 8 months!
That is the longest time I have managed to stay quit, and I still have trouble believing it.
Most days I will have at least one instance when I think I want a cigarette. Nothing urgent or difficult to handle. It's just enough to remind me that I AM A RECOVERING NICOTINE ADDICT. And to make me re-state my basic position. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN, WILL I ALLOW MYSELF TO BE SUCKERED INTO SMOKING TOBACCO, OR USING TOBACCO PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND.
It's a hard line to follow, but not so hard that anyone should feel intimidated by it.
Keep on keeping on all you people who want to breath the free air on the other side of this wretched addiction.
