Making one tonight, Pork with Broccoli in a Butter Garlic Sauce

thin layer of EVOO, heat up the oil, add fresh garlic (3-4 cloves), add 1/4 stick of butter and 2 TBSP of Dry Vermouth.. I also add in a bit of seasoning mix I like to use and some dried onion flakes.

When butter is melted, add in pork, keep stirring till pork is cooked, then add in broccoli and stir in with the other ingredients.

My family loves this recipe for Pork Vindaloo:

    http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/pork-vindaloo-10000001854033/

A note: as it reads, it's not very spicy like you might expect a vindaloo to be, so I punch it up by adding more of the red pepper, and even hitting it with a little hot sauce while it simmers.

The pork tenderloin sounds soooo yummy... I love pork >.< I was having a hard time coming up with low carb recipes though because I love my pork with a sweet sauce. This sounds like a good alternative!! Would be nice with some steamed greens

Made this tonight and it was delicious. It is just about 200 cals, 9 g fat, 9 g carbs and 24 g protein for 1 4 oz chop.

Pork Chops with Pomegranate-Orange Reduction-Weight watchers Winter 2011- Serves 4
    Ingredients
    - ½ teaspoon chili powder
    - ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
    - ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
    - ¼ teaspoon salt
    - 4 (4 oz) boneless center-cut loin pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
    - Cooking spray
    - ½ cup pomegranate-blueberry juice
    - 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    - 1 tablespoon sugar
    - 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
    Preparation
    1) Combine the first four ingredients in a bowl, sprinkle over both sides of pork
    2) Heat a large non-stick skillet over a medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add pork chops, and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chops from pan and keep warm
    3) Add pomegranate-blueberry juice, vinegar, and sugar to the pan, bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 3 minutes or until the mixture is slightly syrupy. Remove pan from heat and stir in the orange rind. Drizzle sauce evenly over pork chops.
