Looking for support in a new lifestyle choice - no DIET in my house!! The swear word has been banished and a new out look on health has been formed in the hope to shift 26lb and keeo it off for life.

Hi,
My name is Dave and I'm from Birmingham.
2011 was a big turning point in my life. I became redundant a week before my 50th Birthday. At my Birthday party a few things were said by family and friends I hadn't seen in a while. I estimated I was about 19 stones my highest weight ever.
One friend Helen had started to lose weight just by changing her portion sizes and suggested I start doing that. That was in July.
I joined this site in September, and quickly started losing, however over Christmas I fell completely off the wagon and put on 7lbs.
Aiming for a loss of just over 4 stones from my starting weight of 18 stones 5lbs.
Hoping I can gain a few friends here as I need motivation badly as I've got a lot of "real life friends" who's only aim is to get me too eat rubbish like Pizza / Chips / Curry / Crisps and drink as much beer as possible.
Joined a gym new years eve, and its the first time I've been for over 5 years.0 -
When you work it out count me in x0
