    anywhere along the central coast, yosemite, sequoia... i love the fact that we have the beach and the mountains! :)

    Gotta agree with those who said Yosemite. Been there so many times throughout my life, and it never ceases to amaze me.

    On the central coast, New Brighton Beach is my favorite spot - we camp there every year and I love it.

    Bear Valley/Mt. Reba, Lake Alpine - pretty much Hwy 4 through Calaveras County into Alpine County over Ebbetts Pass. I grew up in Arnold and loved going 'up the hill' as we called it, and over the pass, stopping at favorite lakes, meadows, hiking trails - whatever along the way. We used to drive over the pass in summer to have dinner in Tahoe. :smile:

    Driving the coast, Yosemite, Far too many places to love. Can't pick just one.

    Grew up in San Diego..still here and love it. Del Mar is my favorite beach. The weather is just the best here IMO.

    Lived in Santa Barbara for many years..love it there as well.
    Spent many years in LA..not my favorite place but I still vacation in Laguna Beach every year. Love it.
    Yosemite is also amazingly beautiful.

    I'm about to become familiar with Santa Cruz as my son was just accepted to school there. The view from his dorm is unbelievable.
