    As a sort of "conversational shorthand", many people simply say "muscle weights more than fat". What this really means is that muscle is more dense than fat. Therefore:
    - 1 lb of muscle occupies less space than 1 lb of fat, as the pictures above illustrate.
    - Similarly, if we compare an equal volume of muscle to an equal volume of fat, the muscle will weigh more
