I was just curious how many of you have tweaked the BFFM baseline diet and what your macros are right now? I am eating slightly more protein and slightly less carbs at 45/35/20 and it seems to be working well for me. Also, how did you figure out the right amount of total calories per day? I was a little confused about it at first because the calculators were saying different results. I've settled at about 1500 per day, thanks to Steve Troutman (on this website) who advised me to try about 10-12 cals. per pound of current body weight and go from there.

I've lost 3 pounds and 2% body fat in the past 3 weeks, so I am wondering if I should change the calorie goals or keep them the same? I guess I haven't totally figured out the "how to tweak for yourself" method quite yet.

I'd say that's great progress, are you unhappy with it?

No, not at all unhappy. I just know from past experiences that after having success and your nutritional needs change, that I personally struggle with choosing how to tweak things without gaining some fat back, getting upset, and then falling off the wagon completely. I'd just like to know how other people change things after seeing successes so i can prepare myself. Right now I weigh 146 pounds, but with my body fat goal being as low as it is, I will most likely weigh around 120 when I get there. I don't think that I should eat the same calories when I lose 26 pounds compared to now, or is that wrong and I should stay the same unless going into maintenance?
