Walking speeds/ running speeds

I'm starting C25K next week on my treadmill.
I don't run. Not very often. And not often enough to know how fast running should be.
So is there a certain speed (like say 6 mph) I should be running at?
And how fast should the warm up walk be vs the walking after the run should be?

Don't worry about your speed yet, just go at a pace that is good for you. Once you get to the end of the program you can work on your speed.0

Walk at a brisk pace, but you can still hold a conversation, keep the running to a gentle jog and increase gradually with what your comfortable with
I did W1D3 yesterday at 5 and 7.5, on D2 i had to reduce the speed to 7 on the last two runs as my shins were hurting but don't think you have to compete with every one, as I said go with whats comfy for you
and happy running :happy:0 -
Don't start thinking you have to move at a certain minimum speed. The object is to finish, at whatever pace you can handle. Try your first day walking at 3, running at 4.5 or something, if that seems to easy, or to hard, adjust on your next run.0
