Year's end milestones?

With only 51 days left in 2011, is anyone trying to reach a mileage milestone?
I have only 85 miles to go to hit 1,000.
But with a really busy schedule, darkness setting in so early, and losing the week after christmas to run at all, it's going to be quite the challenge to make it. It will be imparative for me not to skip any free opportunities to run.
So anybody else looking to hit a number before years end? Or even a certain PR time?

I was planning on hitting 1,000 miles for 2011 and was on pace for 1200-1500 miles for a while but that was derailed by various injuries. I'm at 875 for the year. I could step it up and hit 1,000 still BUT I don't think that's going to happen.,...0

I had a 1000 mile goal in one year that ended in august. I got close to 800. going to start tracking again in January. you are so close! keep going!0

I didn't think about having the 1000 mile goal until it was probably too late for me to get there. I'm at 745 right now and will be happy to get to 8000

I hit 2,000 miles for the year a couple weeks ago. That's always a nice goal for me. My next goal would be 2,400 for the year, not sure whether or not I'll get there.0

I really wanted to PR a road half marathon by the end of the year. The planets finally aligned for me and I got it a couple of weekends ago so I am super pleased with that. I don't shoot for any yearly mileage number. My training schedule for the couple of goal races I target dictates that.0

I just went through my calendar and tallied up my miles since April when I was documenting my runs/miles. 385 miles so far. Maybe I'll aim for 450 this year and see if I can get closer to 1000 next year. That'll work if I can keep going through the northeast winter!0
