    I'm Amber. I live in Southern California and I'm 24 (soon to be 25!). I've been on track since June 2010 and have lost 20 pounds! YAY! I'm kicking some serious *kitten*!! :drinker:

    I love working out with my personal trainer and have recently started doing pilates. Still have a ways to go but I'm sticking up with! :bigsmile:

    I have been on MFP since June and have lost 13lbs!! Still have about 15lbs to go.
    I am a newer runner (mostly trails) and I finished 30DayShred in september...currently I am doing a p90x/running hybrid program!!

    whats up everybody,

    My name is Daniel. I'm 25 years old. live in Northern California about 45 min from SF. I have had a career change that put me inside a office and after a couple years my body changed a lot so I'm here trying to shed some pound. I'm 204 right know trying to get myself back down to 185.

    I have a son Johnny Daniel, He is a big part of my drive to get healthy. My dad is a pretty big guy and I always felt bad that my dad wouldn't play with me because he didn't keep himself fit. So I want to be able to Play sports with my son. When he is old enough. He is barely turning 2 in December. Also my Fiancee she is very healthy person. Gotta try to not fall to far behind.

    Feel free to add. I been on MFP for a little over two weeks so still pretty new.

    I've been on MFP since August 2010 and I've lost 44lbs! About 5 to go..and they are STUBBORN!
    I love bodypump, bar method classes, interval training, the elliptical and Zumba. I'm a member of 24 hour fitness and love trying new classes.

    Hey I'm Matthew (24 as of the 24th October 1987!)

    I'm from Brighton in the UK and enjoy music (listening, play in a band, watching, dancing (if you can call it that)) amongst other things like pissing away my time on computers or socialising!

    I started my weight journey recently and overshot my weight when I joined (I didn't have scales) so I can assure you I haven't done nearly as well as my profile suggests (yet) 99lbs to go!

    Hi! I'm Jenae... I will be 25 on Saturday. I currently live in Michigan, but am looking to move out of state here in the next 6-8 months or so. I am just getting out of a trying marriage (9 year relationship). I have lost weight before, but I found it all and then some. Now I am here to lose it all for good.

    I just started back, and haven't had my first full week yet, but I thought this group would be a good place to keep the motivation going!

    Hi I'm Shannon and I'm almost 22 (less than 2 weeks!!) I live in Denver, CO and am currently an under grad majoring in Environmental Science. I love music, my dogs, snowboarding ect... But right now I'm really trying to work off the extra weight I've put on through college.

    Im Cynthia 27 years old 28 next month and live in San Jose,Ca about 45 from San Francisco. I have been on MFP since January 2011 and have lost 50 lbs need 7 more lbs to hit my goal weight and 12 lbs for my UGW! I am also a new runner about 6 months or so and recently started weight training!

    Seems like we have lots of new people and some men as well, Good Luck to all!! :bigsmile:

    Hi! My name is Rose, and I am 22. I am currently in college, majoring in nursing. Have been overweight most of my life, but think it is ridiculous to be overweight as a nurse, right? So I am currently tryin to lose 100 lbs. (eeek, there, i said it!) Favorite hobbies are reading... if I have time! I am working on learning to love working out and excersise. Hoping to be fit and healthy by 2013!

    This thread wasn't a group before but now has become a group and we never had any men so it's nice to see everyone on here and yes men can have the same issue I know!!

    I'm a skier that let herself go after high school. I started to pick up running (which I found out that I actually LIKE) but an old knee injury flared up.
    I started MFP in June and was doing well, then I went home for a few weeks, went to Vegas a couple times and put on about 15 lbs.
    Tomorrow is my 50th day of being serious about this! :)

    Hi everyone! Welcome to the group :bigsmile:

    I'm Meag, turning 25 in December from Hamilton ON,and I've been around this "block" for a while. Started up these here "Challenges" for 20-somethings in Oct 2010 and the group has maintained a pretty steady membership since then, with some natural peaks and valleys. At that time I was 10-15lbs from maintenance and needed that extra kick in the *kitten* to finally lose it all and stay on track.

    All told I've lost about 70lbs since October 2009. I took up running in March 2010 and absolutely love running, spin, yoga, and any other physical activity - especially those that get me outside and allow me to really push my limits. I am recently developing a love for trail running, obstacle courses, orienteering and other such activities and I am interested in the prospect of CrossFit programs. I try to "spin" once or twice a week when I can, and just generally love kicking some *kitten* :drinker:

    I eat well, and LOTS, and I love to cook and share recipes. That's all I can think of but I'm sure you'll all get to know me over time. I love to offer my $0.02 on everything! :tongue:

    my name is amy, i'm 25 (26 in a few weeks), and i'm from chicago, il. i joined MFP in august 2010 and have lost nearly 50lbs since then. only a few lbs away. i'm only about half way to my ultimate goal, but taking it slow and doing it the healthy way!

    music is pretty much my life. if i'm not at work, i'm usually catching a concert or hanging at my friends' studio watching their band practice and record.

    i thrive on positive attitudes and believe true happiness can only start with yourself. welcome to our group everyone! feel free to add me as a friend if you want! :flowerforyou:

    We've had a few men come and go, but never any that stayed steadily from month to month...

    I think all the talk of kids, pregnancy and TOM scared 'em off :laugh: JK!

    Hey guys,

    I'm Sam, I'm 22 years old and from PA. I'm a registered nurse so I spend a lot of time working, but I fit in working out at least 5-6 times a week and I generally try to eat healthy without limiting myself too much :) My favorite workouts right now are all from bodyrock.tv. The workouts are free, very inspiring and make me feel strong :D

    I'm excited to be a part of this group!

    Hello there Friends!

    I'm Bethany! And only into the last few days of my twenties since I reach the big 3-0 next month. I am a single mama to 2 kids so finding a good balance between work, the kiddos, a workout schedule and eating healthy can be tough but I'm hoping to make it last this time around so that I can be more active with the kids. And also feel amazing.

    This group has been an amazing addition to my life and I am completely thankful for each and every member that has added kind words, encouragement, and their brutal 2 cents. I still have a lot to learn and can't wait to learn with the rest of you!
