Pre-workout snack or after..

Do you find you do better if you eat shortly before or after your workouts? Also, what do you have for pre or post workout snack?

    I like to have a banana right after I work out...That does the trick for me and it's full of the good stuff

    I usually have oatmeal about an hour before I workout and a protein shake afterwards.

    I work out at 4:30 so usually I eat a small breakfast with some sort of eggs afterwards. Banana is a good feel good snack that I sometimes eat too.
