I have had Asthma for quite a while now and I find it so hard sometimes to excersize. I have a really fair complexion so when I do I get so red and I get embarrased when I am at the gym because people sometimes stare at me. I geuss I just have to ignore them but its hard. Anyone out there deal with similar problems?

I know how you feel. I try not to worry about how I look while I'm working out. My face does tend to turn really red. I've recently discovered I really like to run.. but it gets so frustrating . I actually accidently overdosed on albuterol the other day because I used my inhaler wasn't working. It made my blood pressure really high. I've found the best way to handle cardio with asthma is to do it intervally. I usually walk quickly at a moderate pace ( 3.6-3.9 mph) for 2 minutes and then a higher pace (5.7-6.3 mph) for a minute and then switch back to moderate. I'll do that for 20- 30 minutes depending on bad my asthma is bothering me that day.0
