gratitude and quiet time

Thank you for starting this group. I almost left OA last week for a more rigorous 12 step food program but was directed back to OA by a sponsor in the new program. (YES!) I am delighted to find a place on MFP to both obsess about calories and weight loss and to connect with like minded people.
In my journey last weekend I realized that what I was looking for is quiet time. So, I've restarted doing 30 minutes of meditation every morning this week, to powerful results. (Duh, I know this!)
So, as repetition is the only form of permanence, off I go to my quiet time, exercise class, meeting, and two more abstinent meals.

You are very welcome and please let others know about the group. Great job with the quiet time. I am eventually going to put some more OA Stuff on here but feel free to share anything you want to see. I am glad you are staying with the program.

Quiet time is also new to my life....No excuses...I now make the time for myself. It is an a "GEM".

Told my sponsor this a.m. that finally, I had found a home on the internet.
