Creatine monohydrate - for fatigue?

Today, I finally bought creatine monohydrate. Many of you "kind" of know me, I'm mainly an endurance & HIIT group ex instructor, 5"11, 140 p BMI 19, low body fat around 13.7 % (estimate 122 pounds of lean mass). When I lift it is usually lighter 3 sets a 15 reps. I want to maintain, I don't really want to create more lean mass. I feel good that light with the small muscles, and less weight on my joints. Plus, I'm seriously horrified of body fat (yes, I am mental that way)

Point is, I'm so fatigue lately - maybe mentally, I don't know. If I teach, I'm fine , with the adrenaline going on, I can work it like a machine. I've been teaching this kind of stuff for decades now. I try to do 2 rest days per week. I know I’m getting a little older now and I suspect, I’m somehow not getting what I need nutritionally. I’m not on a low carb diet or anything strict that would wear me out. My ratio right now is around 40 carbs 30 fat 30 protein. I used creatine 10 years ago when I taught like 20 hours per week and I was seriously worn out. Now, I only teach around 4-5 hours average per week, attending 1-2 classes. I’m supposed to lift 3 hours a week for shoulder PT, but make perhaps 2 per week. After all, my office job pays my bills.

Will creatine help me get my energy level back and improve performance?

If so, how ought I need to take it?

Will it have side effects? Years ago it was said to be hard on the kidneys.

Any experience of long term users would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

nah its safe enough. you get it from foods, but generally it gets cooked out, lol.

    5g per serve, per day.
uptake is supposed to better in the presence of glucose. so if you drink orange juice for eg...mix it into that.
personally, i just chuck it in my protein shakes.

Help with recovery, not so much a performance enhancer per se.

I take 5 grams a day and drink 2 glasses of water along with it.
Maybe try 2 grams of Beta-alanine 30 mins before training to help with fatigue.
