3 days of fun=1 kg/2.2lb weight gain??

So I went on a girls weekend to the wine country last weekend. I ate, drank, didn't work out. I didn't pig out sure, but definetely didn't watch what I ate, and drank quite a bit. So Monday I ate super healthy trying to make up for it then weighed myself this morning and have gained 1kg (2.2lb)
Sure doesn't sound like much but I only had 4.5kg (10lb) to lose and had only 1kg left to go, so now I am only halfway through my weight loss.
Could I really have gained 1kg in 3 days? Could this just be from the alcohol I drank?
Feeling pretty discouraged.

I can gain or lose 3 lbs overnight. It is water weight, maybe from travel and drinking. Realistically, it takes 3500 cals over maintenance to gain a pound of fat so you did not likely gain fat. Drink lots of water with lemon to try and shed the water bloat.0
