I am curious... If I weigh 137 lbs and my bmr is 1250, what would my minimum caloric intake be? I heard that I could go lower than 1200 calories, but Im not sure how much lower, if any. im not much into exercising. I do some but not a lot

Typically you want to think of your BMR as the worst case minimum number of calories you should consume. Think of it this way - your body requires that many calories just to keep itself operating, if you were in a coma. Since you are not in a coma, you are burning more than your BMR's worth of calories every day. So if you eat at above your BMR, but still at a deficit, you will lose weight.0

I would also like add that unless you have a lot to lose, your minimum intake should be your BMR. But this is net caloric intake. So if your BMR is 1250 and you burn 300 from exercise, you should get at least 1550 cals on that day and 1250 on days you don't workout.0

I would be careful of dipping below 1,200 calories, as your body will yes, start losing weight, but you'll go into starvation mode, of which any foods you consume, will be stored as fat to be used later for energy.
What's your typical workout activity?
