Anyone here read it? A lot of my facebook friends have been raving about it but I haven't read it yet..

    I haven't read it either, but I remember in my latter years of high school, a lot of my friends were really into this series, and it's always been one I've been meaning to check out, but never have!

    I love Orson Scott card's book but never read any of the Ender's Game series. I did read all of the Alvin Maker series and loved every book, and another one that Card wrote that I really loved and read twice is Pastwatch: the Redemption of Christopher Columbus.....actually I may just read it again for the third time.

    LOVE Enders Game and the next two in the series.

    HATE Card's politics completely and can therefore not bring myself to *purchse* his books. Library all the way.

    I don't know how a brain that can think up Ender and Speaker for theDead can be so xenophobic, culturally hegemonic, and advocate against the rights of others based on a narrow moral code to which he subscribes. It feels like betrayal, even.

    But great books to get from thelibrary.

    I LOVE it! Was skeptical about the next book in the series, but I think I'll pick up where I left of now.
