When Should I Start?

Hi everyone! I am new to this group and wanted to ask a question. I would like to start this program but was wondering If I should get to my goal wt first? I am about 10 lbs from it. I know that is not much and I have always been active and in the past have done programs with light wts and compound exercises.....so I guess my concern is that if I do this program and eat the slight surplus required will I build muscle and the fat I need to lose stay making me appear bigger? or since its such a small amount to loose will the fat be lost while leaning out and building muscle?

A. You can do it while continuing to eat at a small deficit, or at maintenance.
B. You can do what I am doing, eat at a surplus over the winter, gain muscle, some minor amounts of additional fat, then lose the rest of the fat in the spring just in time for bikini season. :bigsmile:0
