NSV -- BUT Ankle pain after running

Hi everyone
So as my 5K is coming up very soon, I decided to change my tactics for training this evening. Instead of attempting to run 28 minutes straight.... I told myself that I would stay on the treadmill until I had gone 3.1 miles -- Both to see that it wasn't actually as long as I'd been thinking, and to just get a time down. Well I took three short walking breaks, but I completed my practice 5K in exactly 38 minutes. I am PSYCHED.
The problem is, hours after the run, my left ankle is now KILLING me. The inside of it -- like along the arch. It seems like a weird spot, so I figured I'd see if anyone has had a similar issue? I currently have it wrapped in an ace bandage for extra support.
Thanks and good luck on everyone's goals!

Awesome NSV!
So sorry about the ankle pain. I haven't had any myself, but maybe alternate heat/cold cycles and see if it loosens up?0 -
Thanks, Clarissa, I'll have to try that0
