Hi, I joined mfp only a week ago and have already found it helpful. the writing down of food has focused me on better portion sizes and made me pause when deciding if I should eat something not so good. Now here I have found a section that I feel will be extra helpful to me. I am 43 (or is that 44), memory is not as it should be, and recently talked with my GYN about going on BCP for the hormone. I have had crazy days of super high or lows and it is cyclical (yes have periods regularly). I have been on it for about 1.5 months and it's working somewhat, but maybe they can increase the hormone more? Crying times (for no reason at all) seem to be sneaking through.
Reading some of your posts, I feel that I am definately in the right place and that I am not imagining things. thank you.

    Welcome! You will definitely get some good support here. Either we are all crazy during this time of our lives or those not going through it are!!! :laugh: One of the discussion topics was "What works for you?" and has lots of varying ideas that you might want to try.

    Ever notice that we never get a break? If we're moody, it's either pms, menopause, or just hormones. Never a valid reason, like someone is a jerk, lol!
    How do you guys respond to someone that says "oh, must be that time of the month again!". ?
