What do you do on your rest days?

I have a goal of working out 5 days per week. C25K takes up three of those days - any suggestions on what to do on the other two? I don't want to do anything to heavy cardio - I am literally starting from the couch and I really don't want to get injured. Just wondering what others do on their off days.
Thanks all!

I do Leslie Sansone Walk at Home dvds. I usually do between 2 to 5 miles on my off day although I've been slacking off lately due to schoolwork. It's a nice way to get in some cardio with completely exhausting myself and I've noticed it's helped with my stamina and breathing for C25k.0

I play dance central or do Strength training -- for you i would highly recommend strength training since you should have at least 2-3 days of that as well as your running cardio.0 -

Another vote for strength training!! It's so key for all-around health, muscle maintenance, and body composition.0 -
I really do a variety- I either will do a kickboxing dvd, wii, zumba, aerobics, go to gym, yoga if I need a good stretch, weights, or go for a walk. I try to listen to my body and if I am exhausted I take it easy, if I have energy- use it and burn those calories:)0

I take kickboxing classes that involve circuit training. It's done so much for my body composition... I'm more of an hourglass now, with muscles I haven't seen since I was a teenage ballet dancer / ringette player!0

I do strength circuits. It's definitely important to do a mix of strength and cardio for optimum fitness.0

Try a class. I have taken zumba classes, which I love! I also take a yoga class once a week. Classes are fun because you make friends, and then they become social outings!
I also do some strength training with resistance bands at home.0 -
I do Stronglifts on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and I run on Tuesday, Thursday and sometimes Saturday.
I think the running and the weight lifting are starting to impede each other, though. It's getting harder to do both.0 -
Im alternating c25k with ripped in 30. I also sometimes walk and do some crunches or squats.0

i am doing something similar. i am alternating 30day shred and the c25k. but i am not sure if some of my muscles are not getting the break they need, so i take my rest day on sundays.0

I train in Taekwondo M, W, Sat and I do C25k T, Th, Sun. I am either on the mats or at the gym 6 days a week. Fridays is my rest day.0

I swim or do some calisthenic. I've been doing Nike Traning Club (15min shaped back and 15min ab burner). Low impact workout.0
-
I either walk for an hour on the treadmill or do the Jillian Michael's Kettlebell DVD.0
-
Strength training or yoga -- or extra long walks with my dog0
