Running into Trouble

I know, personally, I'm guilty of thinking like this. I love strength training and have accepted that I'm not going to get huge - but I'm still having a hard time breaking up with the treadmill. In reality I'm probably pitting my body against itself and that's why I'm not seeing as much progress as I'd like.

Feel free to share this tid-bit of wisdom with others who train like hamsters!

  • Girl, I spent my 20s on that hamster wheel. I had to completely quit the treadmill and all those spin classes before I saw any gains in my strength / body composition.

Thanks for sharing! I shared it too! My scale is not moving like it used to but my body is changing for the better.
