I came across this and I really think it can help those that are tempted to "just have one puff...".
Let me know what you think.

Thank you for this. I am on day 13 and have been doing great. The physical cravings dropped off around day 5 from their high intensity, and I thought I was out of the woods. Over the the past couple of days, though, the psychological cravings have out of nowhere started hitting me HARD. These are worse than physical cravings because they last much longer and my addict brain starts trying to talk my rational self into reasons to go through with it. There are smokes available here, but I am in control and am not going to have one. This link really helped me get through this episode. Thank you.0

I am so glad it helped you. I read it and it made such good sense and I totally understand about the psychological craving. It's worse than the physical craving. Keep up the good work! :flowerforyou:0 -

Thanks for posting this, Lauren.
It is great for those who want to try it, for those who are tempted and those who don't know yet if and why they want to quit.
The SmokeWorm - approach is similar to Allen Carr's "Easy way .....".
Great stuff!!!!0 -
Here's another good article about the changes in our brain and it totally explained why I felt like I couldn't quit eating after I quit smoking. It helped me take control of my eating habits which were becoming atrocious.

Great article!
Now I know why I'm always hungry or have the feeling of being hungry. It also explains why I am feeling much better after exercize. Dopamine is released while exercizing and makes you feel better (after appr. 30min). My slogan today: don't munch, just crunch !:bigsmile:0
