Hey everyone. I just completed day 2 of week 4 today and am feeling so proud of myself for pushing this far. I told myself that if I could do week 4 than I could for sure do all of them. I always thought that asthma meant I couldn't run and when I started this program I figured I would stop at week 3. However, I am proving to myself that it isn't the case! I feel so empowered. I don't even struggle with my breathing inside on the treadmill. My only issues with week 4 are fatigue during the last run, but I can push past that. Anyone else trying this program with asthma?

I have verrrrry mild asthma but I have known other asthmatic runners and it seems like maybe we just need to work a little harder to improve lung performance and capacity and maybe we will never be great sprinters but a slow steady run is possible. If you aer prone to attacks you should keep an inhaler with you at all times though - if you are like me and you just have weaker than normal lungs I think you can just work at it. I haven't had a problem so far.0
