    week 2 check in:

    logging: 5/7
    water: 5/7
    workout: 5/3

still haning out at 189.8, but it's kind of nice to be in the 180's for a change - i'll probably be back up to the legendary 191 by next week. :grumble: but i'm on my way to get some measurements taken, so hopefully there will be some good news there. no matter what, my clothes are nearly falling off and i feel a gazillion times better than this time last year, so we'll just keep truckin'! happy monday!

    Logging 4/7
    water 3/7
    workout 0/7

I know it looks bad, I hope to get on track today. So far water is good, and I logged breakfast, and I plan to workout after work.

    Week 2 Twilight Challenge:

    Logging 7/7
    Water 6/7
    Workouts 5/3

Getting excited to make it to my goal, but a little fearful of holiday binging. I tend to talk myself into more goodies once I've gone over my cals for the day. As in "Oh well, I'm already over so might as well have that other cookie."

It got me thinking though what other books or series do you all love? I will have some free time for reading so all suggestions would be welcome. If you could tell me title, author, and a bit about the plot that would also be helpful. I have read the entire Harry Potter series which I love. I am actually the Head of House for Hufflepuff in the Hogwarts challenge on MFP. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Sorry this is so long.

Read The Hunger Games before the movies come out if you haven't yet. It is a great series! Water for Elephants was a good book. Wives and Daughters and North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. But I won't tell you about the plots because I hate spoilers.

If you are interested in tougher reads, I could go on for hours!

You make me proud! With all the wonderful logging, exercise, and water but ESPECIALLY with the seeing Breaking Dawn 8 times!!! I thought I was the only crazy fanatic going to see this movie twice a week since it came out. I swear every time I watch it again I catch something I hadn't seen the first time. I absolutely love Twilight!

Week 2 was NOT a good week for me.

    Logging 7/7 - over cals 4 days I think...not good!
Water 3/7 - I am usually meticulous about the stupid water!
Exercise 2/3 - and YES, I logged the shopping/walking cause with my back injured, it was all I had

I'm at a plateau, and with my work schedule and my family/finanical stresses, I am seriously considering just trying to maintain for the next month. I'm not discouraged per se, just frustrated with myself and with life in general.:grumble:

no worries! the big thng about our challenge this month is being accountable, not doing everything perfectly - so you are in the winner's circle! i think it's fine to take a maintenance break if you need it. i also hear doing that will counter the effects of loose skin anyways, so it's not a bad thing. keep your chin up and stay the course - you've got this!

I feel like I have failed this challenge already, and I thought it wouldn't be that hard!!

My weekend indulgences were roughly estimated in logging but not exactly inputted... and that's a fail. Water has been going well at least. Exercise is so hit and miss you would think I was a one eyed archer.

Time to pull up my socks and start over. Weigh in is tomorrow and it's not looking good....

90 minutes until hydro-pilates, and I'll be weighing in at the gym like I did last week. I'm almost afraid of what the scale will say. I've not had the best few days, and unfortunately, I'm a stress eater. I was told the other day in an email by a guy I had went out with a couple times that I had too many hangups about sex, and therefore wasn't worth the time to go out with again. I think viewing number 5 of breaking dawn might be in order to cheer me up.

this guy is a sh1t-faced loser for many reasons that i could list. but i won't, because i would rather not get our thread locked down. please don't ever give him the time of day or an inkling of your mind or energy. chin up, gorgeous! :flowerforyou:

Hello Twilighters. For some reason this week has been extra difficult for me :-( ... I am logging, but the water and exercise are not up to par. I need to get back on track tomorrow. I had a lot of good news come my way today also.

What a total jerk! :explode: To be liked by such a person would be a misfortune. Stress eating shouldn't be the problem -- maybe the party you throw to celebrate not wasting another day or thought on such a loser.

Breaking Dawn will definitely make you feel better (it has been proven in clinical trials). Edward would never treat a woman like that!

The stuff about clinical trials is true, 77TES was a guinea pig in them. She knows first hand.

I never thought my month would get as crazy busy as it's been! Sorry I have not been on here much at all this month! I have logged every day, been okay with the water but could be better, and have not exercised as much as I usually do - too darn tired! Hope you are all doing well as the holidays approach!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA lately but I've been sick.... just starting to feel better now. I have kept up with my logging and water intake but haven't exercised in a while. Giving myself some time to properly recover before starting it up again. Hope you're all doing well with this challenge.

Well I put the weigh in into the list... I'm sad. I'm up .8 lb this week, and it's unexplainable, and I'm upset about it.

don't sweat the small stuff. being that bodies are organic, pretty much everything they do is unexplainable. don't be sad. and if you are, think about me, who hasn't lost a pound or an inch since june. that's pretty unexplainable too. just keep fighting the good fight and you'll get there - chin up!

I am sad we have to wait a whole year for the last part of Breaking Dawn especially considering it is already in post production stage ... Boo. Anyone wish she would write another book ? LOL I love reading the books just as much as I like watching the movies.

I liked how she came out with "the short life of Bree Tanner", that was unexpected, and I thought it was a really good book.
I don't know if she will ever do anything more with the Twilight Saga. Her website feels like it has been abandoned. Surely she has more up her sleeve. I really hope so, we've enjoyed the ride and hate to get off the merry-go-round just yet.

Hi!! I'm the leader of the MIA over the holidays club and would like to extend a hearty welcome to all my fellow club members!

Okay, all kidding aside...I've been a somewhat absent vamp lately. Work and family obligations keep interfering with my MFP addiction. Can't that work on my desk do itself? Can't those kids of mine make their own dinner? Sheesh!! I'm in countdown mode now though...only 3 more days of work and then I get some time off!! (I REFUSE to think about the hellish January that is looming). Now I just need to make plans to exercise, exercise, exercise during the Christmas break!

BTW, does anyone have any clue how much longer Breaking Dawn will be at the theater? I want to go see it again, but time is not working with me!

I would love to see Midnight Sun completed but I'm sure that wont happen. I heard rumor that she said that if she did anything else with the Saga, it would be about Jacob & Renesmee

No idea. I know all the theaters around me are down to one screen each. I was planning on going the other night & never did. I'm thinking I'll go Tuesday.

I can definitely live with a Jacob and Renesmee book. I'll take anything. My friend made an interesting point though ... They are running out of conflicts for this family to have. I mean after Breaking Dawn what else could happen to them!
