DOOM... home alone with the lights out eeeeppp!0

The Marine campaign in Aliens vs Predator 2 for the pc0

Silent hill! Definitely silent hill.
I played it for 5 mins and then threw the controller to my brother. It was so freaky!!!!0 -
I find Half Life 2 disturbing and very eerie! Especially Ravens Croft or whatever it is called... With all the zombies!
But it's very very very addictive.... But just keeps going and going..0 -
Have to say Dead Space. I play with a headset so I am uninterrupted by my husbands surround sound and hearing all of that scraping and clanking..yeesh. Love that game..
I think the only time I have ever actually flinched while playing was in Silent Hill:Origins...a wheelchair came out of no where and I may have even peed my pants.0 -
Dead space...heck, even some parts in Tomb raider!0

Amnesia: The Dark Descent I've only played it a bit, but it constantly kept me on edge. There are tons of YouTube videos of people screaming and crying while playing it. I haven't played it enough, but it's supposed to be quite frightening. Following their advice to playing in a dark room w/ headphones really does make it creepy.
I have to say playing Minecraft on anything but peaceful is scary for me. All of my hours of hard work gone in an instant is enough to scare me. Haha.
for Minecraft!
I played Amnesia for about a half hour then quit. Yeah, it freaked me out too much. I never met a monster BUT I DON'T CARE I'M A HUGE WUSS!!
Scariest game I ever played was Silent Hill 3. That game ruined me for life. Messed with my head a bit because I got way too into it, and now I can't touch a scary game again T_T0 -
Years and years ago i was so scared playing ecstatica on the pc. More recently it would be resident evil or silent hill, when survival horrors were new. Tomb raider games still make me jump when tigers etc jump out from nowhere!0

I have to agree. The original Resident Evil creeped me out. Also DOOM...that game scared the crap out of me lol.
Doom... all the way, when a Baron of Hell let out that scream, I would jump about 10 feet.0 -
I'd have to say the most current game would be Amnesia. It gets more and more f'ed up as you go story-wise, and if you keep your gamma set right and play it at night? Gah. -shudder-
For the longest time, and in it's day, I'd hands down was a section in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Ocean House Hotel. Holy crap. That place was chilling. I could barely walk down the corridors. At one point, I really had to step away. I even called my ex-husband (gamer boy) because I was a bit too freaked out to sit around by myself.0 -
I remember playing Silent Hill one night. I decided to be brave and play it in total darkness with the shades drawn.
THEN THE POWER WENT OUT.
I almost cried D;0 -
I would probably say, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and The suffering.0

i forgot the suffering, that was great too0 -
Silent Hill is pretty creepy, but the only game that has ever made me jump was Doom 3.0
-
Clive Barker's Undying. *shudder*0

The first Condemed game was terrifying... it didn't help that the only way you could ever defend yourself was with your bare hands & if you were lucky... a blunt object!0
-
Resident Evil 2; nothing else has come close.0
-
Doom 3. But I'm a weenie when it comes to running around in darkness with things popping out at you, so I don't even think I made it through the first stage >.>0
-
I would have to say Fatal Frame 2 and Amnesia: Dark Descent. Haven't finished Amnesia due to being terrified.0
