If you are what level are you on and what are your calories burnt?

  • I use a HRM. I am doing level 1. I burned 349 day 1 and 340 day 2. It will totally depend on your body though. Everyone burns differently.

I am using one, however I am not sure if I set mine up right. I haven't checked my resting heart rate and I think my HRM was set at 50, so I left it. Anyway...the last 3 days of Level 1 it says I have burnt: 185, 183, 192.

I know it depends on body weight and how hard you push yourself...I didn't get up to my max heart of 189. I'd be interested to see if/what everyone else says.
  • I use one. 143 first day and 150 second. I reiterate what the previous poster said. It depends on your fitness level and weight. I was primarily in zone 1 during the workout so burnt less than maybe others would.

Level 1 Day 4 I burned about 550 calories. I think it depends on how overweight you are and how much you exert yourself.

I used HRM today and it shows I only burnt 180 kcal at average heart rate of 135. And I did L1 of DS

    This should read 285, 282, 292.

Today was also 285 calories and my HR was in the 100-150 the whole workout with 2 times over 190.

Broke a stall this week, down 1.4 lb!

Despite all said...it does not make sense that there is almost 200 kcal difference in the workout. Base on MFP count for circuit training of 30 mins is 360 while my HRM showed only 180. Sucks

Maybe your HRM isn't right? How old is it, what brand?

Yes, this. Do you have your settings accurate? I think that was my problem...mine was pre-set at 50 for a resting heart rate. The last 2 days I remembered to put my HRM first thing in the morning and it was about 70-72 at resting. That discrepency had to affect my cal burned...right? Plus, all the variations of height, weight, age, exursion, ya know.

I just bought it 2 weeks ago. Its Oregon. http://www.heartratemonitor.co.uk/oregon_scientific.html

I am not sure what is the setting of resting heart rate.

I have locked in all the other info need. Yesterday it logged 700 cals. I set the monitoring time for 1.5 hours. Of which I did back to back of 30 minutes of running and 30 minutes of 30 DS L1 workout. The additional 30 minutes I just left the monitoring on as my heart rate was still above 100.

I think I will play with chest belt location. I wore it under the arm pit level. This time below the rib. Not sure that will make any difference. I will check the resting heart rate as well.
