Hey all I am so sorry for not posting on Friday. My work week has been rough not getting home till late. So, here is the challenge for this week!

Don't for get to weigh in!!! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqxTXEpIQxabdGR1U05jNGVkMTBLTi1kWmFvZk9RWEE&hl=en_US#gid=0

1. Get up and move! If you have a desk job or are generally idle for long periods of time, make a change. Make a point not to sit still for over an hour. Be up and active for a minimum of 5 minute out of every hour! At work? Get up and do squats or calf raises. Watching TV? Do sit-ups, jumping jacks or push-ups during commercials. Pace the floor while you talk on the phone!
2. How’s your sleep? If you don’t get enough sleep, this can have an effect on weight loss. Try going to bed sooner. 10 minutes to 30 minutes.
3. What is your all-time favorite workout? Share what you love doing! Even if it is walking or something as hard as a plank! We want to hear about it!
4. With the winter season here, it is harder to get more fresh fruits in your diet. So let’s get more fresh veggies and fruits in our diet.
5. Winter comfort food is so good, but I am sure it is high in sodium. Let’s keep track of sodium this week and shoot for all green numbers!
6. Share some motivation on the boards this week!

My absolute favorite workout is spinning! You can burn mega calories in just 45 minutes. After I spin, I do my hundred pushup challenge! Luckily my gym has a ton of spinning classes everyday. I also love a workout my trainer showed me, Boxing! I asked for a punching bag for Christmas!
I hope everyone has a great week!

A little late replying, but love the challange this week!!

My all-time favorite workout is Zumba!! I love it so much, especially at home! The classes while I'm away at school are also fun, but definitely not as good as the instructor at home!!

I have done so so this week. I did pass up free McDonalds the other day. Very proud of that. I love the fries there! Yesterday I blew it on lunch. I was angry about work, and starving to the point of shaky, so I just ate a burger, fries and 3 motz sticks. Then we had burgers for dinner. uh! But today is a new day. Back on that wagon!

Anyone else having issues this week? Ideas for next week?

Spinning is a group cycling class. It tends to simulate actually riding a bike outside rather than in the gym (hills, straight away, sprints,etc.). You can completely control the intensity because you can adjust the tension on the bike up and down manually without having to wait on a computer to do it.

My favorite workout all time is spinning. The number of calories that you burn in those classes can't be matched if you are willing to put in the hard work.

I have always wanted to try spinning but I never thought I would be able to keep up. Maybe now that my endurance has improved I should give it a try!
