I really thought my knee would be better by now. It's been hurting--arthritis--but it usually only hurts for a day or two. it IS getting better but it is taking longer than usual. I am going to try walking for 15 minutes a couple times a day and see if that helps.

I think taking a different route back to the east coast--such as this one--would be nice, too!

    Hi All,

Been slacking a little bit focusing more on time than distance. Last night I was able to run a minute straight and walk 1 1/2 for 7 intervals :)! In another week or two I think I'll be comfy enough to start the couch to 5k.

Sunday- 1.5 miles, may have been more but was shopping all day so I've no idea.
    Monday- 2.5 miles

    Total - 4 miles

For next challenge -- assuming it stays run, walk, crawl -- let's venture through the other side of the globe. Take a flight from NYC or L.A. to Beijing and work our way west.

We can go along the coast line down to Vietnam/Laos, or inland (is the Great Wall nearby?) through rural China, Mongolia and Russia.

Or stay in Europe and start in Amsterdam and all around Central Europe.

The possibilities are near endless! A bit of story for the local town would be nice. Soo much history on that side of the world.

For a 4,000 mile walk we can take this couple's journey.

You can sure run longer very soon. When I started with MFP in mid October I could not run 10 steps. And yesterday I ran a straight 19 minutes. Woohooo!!!! :drinker:

ohhh I've been so lame (don't hate me). I did 3 miles Monday, and 1 mile today. What can I say I'm a total whimp when it comes to cold and it's cold. The gym is getting painted and it takes a bunch of my time so no workout. (well I've done weights). I promise I'll try harder... Don't kick me out of the group. So just to check it has to be done on your feet right? no swimming or biking?
