I was up and at 'em at my usual time, got in a 40 min workout and then off and running to get ready for work, etc... lol

Today is my Friday, but I'll be up @ 4am tomorrow getting my workout in!

I've been doing the AM workouts for several months now, so if anyone has questions about how I get up so dang early or other things I do to help myself, just send me a PM. :)

    Happy Thursday Everyone!
  • Hey Kacee, I am always open to suggestions! How do you motivate yourself not to hit snooze?!

I'm sorry I was MIA for a few days (cookie madness for son's ROTC bake sale Thurs & Fri....then the tummy flu on Sun & Mon - WOOHOO!) LOL Ugh, I wish I could've gotten a re-do on my weekend!

Anyhow, it took me about 2-3 weeks to get used to getting up so early for my workouts. Initially I had 3 different alarms set to wake me up. I even had an alarm in our adjoining bathroom so I would be forced to get up (I can hit the snooze in my sleep). I also go to bed REALLY early. Once dinner is done, kids are done w/ homework everyone starts getting ready for bed. I'm usually in bed by 8:30pm/9pm.

I also made mini goals, like "I'm going to work out before work 3 days this week". Some people are natural early birds, and I was never really allowed to sleep in. So it was a pretty easy transition to get up a bit earlier.

    Does that help?
