First time user of this workout, so I'm curious how the Push and Lean phases differ from Burn ( I'm currently on week 3).

I can only speak on Push, since I just started it. The reps go down to 6-8, and you have to up the weights you use to reach failure more quickly. Also, you do not do combination moves, for example, squat plus arm extension. Instead you would do a set of just squats and then go directly into an Extreme set.
I've heard the Lean phase is back to combination moves, but that's all I know about it.0 -
Just started lean yesterday - back to combination moves with a LOT of emphasis on upper body. For instance - circuit 1 is all biceps and triceps (with lower body moves). Higher reps again (12) while trying to keep heavier weight (not as heavy as in Push but as heavy as you can tolerate for 12 reps, obviously). Very sore arms all month long is what I've heard, LOL!!! Oh and lean circuits are quite a bit longer (I noticed Burn is about 35, Push is between 33-35, lean are 45 mins). I've also heard you get most of your actual weight loss in lean and truly "lean" out when compared to the other phases (if eating properly).0
