Can I say I liked McCown's performance. I think he did a good job. Also Bell had a great running game.

I completely agree. I will admit I didn't like it when they signed McCown right away. Seemed like they were just signing someone to have a name on the chart, but he was impressive. I wish Lovie would have pulled Hanie sooner and given McCown a chance. Things might have ended up different.

Bell really helped out his career by proving himself. Whether or not the Bears keep him next year and beyond, he now has himself a nice resume of game film to show to teams.

I hate to say that I think Hanie shot himself in the foot. He was given a great opportunity to really show his worth and it kinda flopped. I have a feeling Hanie is pretty much out.

Yeah I would say Hanie is out now. They can lock up McCown as the backup for next year. I saw Nathan Enderle in training camp and he wasn't good at all. Maybe he just had a bad practice, but he couldn't hit an open receiver and there was no pressure as they were just running routes. Hopefully it all doesn't matter though and Cutler comes back 100% and stays that way.

I went to the Bears/Vikings game, McCown looked like he had adjusted to the speed of the game in regards to his receivers, linebacker and secondary coverages, but not d-line rush (Jared Allen). Maybe with more reps he cill start to get rid of it!
