Hey i did a clx workout about 4 weeeks ago, and i really loved it, so i decided to purchase it. However i keep hearing bad things about the workouts, claiming that it just made some ladies gain weight,in stead of loose it. So here are my questions!

1:What were your results after 1 round of CLX
2:Is loosing 12lbs a manageable goal by 90 days with CLX?
3:did you use the eating guide? I got mine second hand and there was no eating guide, so any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I'm interested in these answers as well. I just got the DVDs yesterday and I'm definitely not interested in GAINING weight.

I was just reading about this. The weight gain is water retention, which should stabilize after a couple weeks. Yes, muscle weighs more than fat, so technically the scale "could" reflect that, but the proof should be in your measurements and clothes. They should be smaller and fit looser. Plus regardless, its still all about calories in vs calories out.

I am going to give it a whirl as muscle burns more calories (when idle) and strength training is good for the bones. I will incorporate an extra day of cardio just for good measure..lol.

After the BURN phase I lost 7 inches - 3 of those inches were just off my waist, and 4 lbs

Weight lifting isn't about seeing pounds drop, it's about getting lean

1:What were your results after 1 round of CLX
My first round I started March of Last Year. I was 225lbs.
The Burn phase I lost 7 inches and 6lbs.
The Push phase I lost 11.75 inches and 8.2lbs.
The Lean phase I lost 12 inches and 9.8lbs.
Total lost was 30.75 inches and 24lbs.
2:Is loosing 12lbs a manageable goal by 90 days with CLX?
'I think' so but you need to look at the inches as a big piece of your goals instead of the scale.
3:did you use the eating guide? I got mine second hand and there was no eating guide, so any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Personally, my first round I did not follow the eating guide.
I just started my second round and am following Jackie Warners 5+2 diet. Trying to eat a bit more 'clean' this go around.

Results for end of 90 days Round 1:

    Weight--lost 5 lbs
    Chest--lost 1.5 inches
    Waist--lost 1 inch
Belly (across belly button)--lost 3 inches
    Hips--lost 1/2 inch
Arms--no change in size, but feeling much more dense
    Thighs--lost 1/2 inch

Total body loss--lost 6.5 inches in 90 days. So that seems like a small change. In comparison, over the last 8 months I have lost 43.5 inches overall with my first 35lbs of weight loss. That averages out to about 5.5 inches per month. However, this round of CLX is the first time that I feel like my body is not just getting smaller, but it is actually changing. I'm starting to feel muscles become more pronounced under my skin. I'm hopeful that my next 90 days will continue the trend.

Taking a little break for a couple of days, so everyone have a great weekend, and I'll see you on Monday!

Here are my results. I actually didn't lose any scale weight because I was at goal, but I went down a size in pants and can wear a small in shirts, and I'm now doing the Lean for Life phase and looking to purchase turbo fire and do the hybrid.

I lost 20lbs, 21" and 10% body fat doing CLX, you do have to challenge yourself though and go heavy to see the changes. And following the Eating Guide TOTALLY helps. I didn't stick to it that first month, but I did the last 2, which is when I saw the biggest differences. I went from a tight 12 to an 8. I am a size 4 now. All thanks to weight training! :)

I have lost many inches, 15lbs, and gained more muscle.

I have not used the eating plan, but use MFP and many, many Clean Eating Diet Cookbooks (Tosca Reno), the Clean Eating Magazine Cookbook, and even have a 150 Healthy Slow Cooker Recipes cookbook -great for when you have things to do and won't be able to make dinner at your normal time.

I also try to drink a lot of water since your body sometimes disguises thirst as hunger.

Love and totally believe this program works.
