We have been working very hard to improve the outsides of our bodies I thought it might be fun to work on the internal as well.

As the first paragraph states:
Scientists have suggested that, with a little willpower, it takes roughly 30 days for a person to form a new habit. As with mastering anything new, the act of starting and getting beyond the preliminary stage where everything feels awkward is 80% of the battle. This is precisely why it’s important to make small, positive changes every day over the course of at least a 30 day period.
Read through the challenge if you decide to please notate which 2 two 5 challenges you selected here. You can back daily, every other day or even weekly and discuss how your personal challenge is going.
This could be fun as well as enlightening

Ok I think mine will be:
Get rid of one thing a day for 30 days.
Spend 10 minutes every evening reflecting on what went well.
Document every day with one photograph and one paragraph.0 -
What a wonderful way to bring in 2012! I had my staff follow something similar last year and it was amazing how NICE they became towards one another. I will work on the following to improve myself:
Define one long-term goal and work on it for an hour every day.
Read one chapter of a good book every day. (other than my research)
Let go of one relationship that constantly hurts you.0 -
This is my log for the day.
I took it cause I thought it was cute, but then I thought about. The whole time when were that small all we wanted to do is grow up, wouldn't it have been nice to have just enjoyed being young instead of rushing to grow up or to fill someone else's shoes?Does anyone know how to make this pic smaller?0 -

What an awesome idea... I confess, I have already sort of started this - I guess it's the pay attention to your life one (can't remember the number) but I am trying to meditate every day... even if it is just for 10 minutes. I'm also trying to get out and do a 30 minute walk (including or as my daily exercise) - sometimes getting out is about your body, but I want to focus on the benefits to my mind and soul that getting outside and moving brings
I'm in!0 -

After someone went out of their way to be rude to me, I will be adding:
Use words that encourage happiness.0 -
I'm going small and only committing to one - I have a room that I can't get into because of all the useless things in there - I'll even take a picture when I get in tonight to compare start to finish. Tonight I’ll get rid of 3 things so I can have a total of at least 30 when I’m done.

One of mine was to get rid of relationships that are not motivating, basically holding me back. Well, I was actually impressed with myself and how quickly I was able to get that accomplished when I saw in writing what I said I would do. I only had one relationship that was weighing me down, as I had already purged my life of the other negative factors. Well, mission accomplished...that last one is gone too!!!! What an awesome feeling.:drinker:0

This last week I have been doing really well at getting rid if one thing a day. So far it has been stuff I can take to Salvation Army so its a win win .
Need to work on the pic a day thing, you would think it would be so easy but I always forget.0 -

I did this one back in November, feels good to be rid of the weight a toxic friend tends to bring with them.0 -
Getting rid of one thing a day began really well with me tossing 3 items a day. Then I began to suffer intense pain from a pinched nerve and I totally forgot everything other than making that throbbing pain go away. I'm a little better now and having MFP keep track of my topics - I simply could not ignore this commitment I'd made, so tonight after work I'll catch up by tossing as much as I can in 15 minutes.0

Been throwing things in a bag, at least one thing, at the end of the month will be taking of to the Salvation Army.
This month I have focused mainly on clothes, next month I thing things like books or cookware that I have replaced and things like that.0
