Ok, now for me to get back on track. I AM going to do my exercise this week. I AM going to do C25K every other day and 100 situps on my off days. I know I can do this because I have done it before. I am going to start this year off right and healthy.

My 1 a week goal is to exercise 3x a week this week. Today is Tuesday...this morning was the first time I attempted the Jillian Michael's 30 Days Shred. I didn't make it through the entire 20 minutes but I'll get up again tomorrow and try it again. I am going tonight to visit a World Gym in my area. I've packed my work-out gear and if we (my BFF and I) like it, we'll probably stay for the 6:30 Zumba class.

Wednesday - I kind of blew this day -- I was taking a turn being "available" for our sick puppy after my daughter had another sleepless night Monday and had to start back to school Tuesday (after her winter vacation.) I left work at lunch yesterday to replace my car battery after needing a jump before work. I left work early to take my daughter to a new specialist because her bloodwork from her annual physical showed abnormality in her hormones. Nothing serious but it was her first trip to the adolescent gynecologist and she was terrified. I only have 1 week left before my MBA classe starts next week so I took her to the hair salon, to dinner, and to the nail salon (for me). I left my house at 7:40am and didn't walk back in the door until almost 9:30pm. I never log how many times I run up and down the stairs to do laundry, fill the pellet stove, take the dogs out, and since it's all just part of my regular life I don't know that it would do much good (calorie wise). All excuses....that's all it is...

Thursday - we had a better evening - the puppy was relocated so that if she needed to go to the bathroom she could -- instead of waking up the whole house. NOW - our other dog is sick too --- can pets get the flu? I wonder...

Wow sounds like you have had a rough time. My 2 cats have upper respiratory right now. Plus I know what you mean about running up and down stairs for laundry and I also have 4 dogs of my own...haha Now, as far as the flu...idk but I do know that they can catch like upper respiratory from each other. Just try and do better tomorrow. :)

Sunday - checking in -- I am stuck at the office...I'm "on call" which means I just sit here waiting for the phone to ring. We are doing upgrades so I am just sitting here waiting for someone to call and say "can you check if that printed?" "try and log in now!" "Did that work?" LOL I just feel bad for our tech guys who started all this after we finished work on Friday. They have been working all weekend long. I have not gotten any organized exercise all weekend...
