Sunday, I was preparing a box of spring clothes to bring to a consignment store and I found a pair of Old Navy pants that used to be mine. They are size 16. I never actually wore them a lot, because Old Navy's 16 is made *smaller* than other 16s I was wearing at the time. At one point, I couldn't even get them done up and when I did wear them, my muffin top just looked disgusting hanging over the waist band so I had relegated them to the back of my closet.
Well on Sunday, I held them up in front of myself and looking at how huge they were, I couldn't believe I had allowed myself to become too big to wear them! I looked at my husband and said, "Did I really used to be THAT big?" I felt like one of those before and after commercials for a weight loss product.
It was a nice reality check...and a good reminder that I do NOT want to go back there ever again!

That is awesome!! I am hoping that stuff in the back of the closet that "I will never be skinny enough to wear" will one day fit...or be too big.0
